The Garden Study Club of New Orleans raises the majority of its funds through Caladium Bulb sales and Art in Bloom.
With the help of our members, we sell thousands of caladium bulbs to our friends, family and neighbors. Not only does the money raised help to fund our community donations, but one can see our contribution in the form of beautiful caladiums in the gardens and yards around the New Orleans area.
One of the most anticipated springtime events in New Orleans, Art in Bloom raises funds for the Garden Study Club’s community projects and for NOMA’s education projects and exhibits.
Art in Bloom begins by showcasing spectacular floral designs created by over 100 exhibitors that are displayed throughout NOMA for four days. A Patron and Preview Party features cuisine and libations from top New Orleans restaurants, a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind art, and live music, and of course guests enjoy an exclusive preview of the floral displays! On the second day of Art in Bloom, participants enjoy listening to guest lecturers in the NOMA Auditorium followed by a luncheon and fashion show at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters.
